An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is the gold standard in lactation care. The IBCLC is a breastfeeding expert trained in the management of lactation care to include prenatal preparations, latching assistance, management of breastfeeding problems, feeding assessments, feeding plans and lactation education. The IBCLC has completed rigorous educational requirements and passed international boards to become certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE).  To maintain certification, continuing education is a requirement, keeping the practice current and updated with the latest evidence-based information available.

Most classes are 1 to 2 hours in duration with a question and answer session at the end.  A short break may be offered half way through the class.

If you have questions that are personal and specific to your situation, you can request that the IBCLC contact you directly.  You'll be given contact information during the class.

To register for a class, click on the registration link for the preferred class (located at the bottom of the Upcoming Classes tab) and follow the prompts to register.  A link will be emailed to you within 48 hours of the class. Payment in full is expected at the time of registration.

Class fees are non-refundable. Consultation fees are non-refundable; however, if a minimum of 24 hours notice is given for cancellation, the consultation may be rescheduled as long as the make-up consultation takes place within 2 weeks from the original scheduled appointment. Gift cards are non-refundable and must be used within 6 months of purchase.
